Dogs and Cats These wire drawings were inspired friends' pets, including a cocker spaniel that cocks his head when he's listening and a cat that sits like a person! With just a few lengths of wire I hope I have created their funny personalities.

Wire Flowers These sculptures are created using traditional basketry and braiding techniques. They are mounted onto wooden plinths to engage with the viewer. As you touch or walk past the sculptures they 'shiver' as though moving in the wind. When lit the delicate structures produce shadows adding a further dimension to the piece.

Botanical Weave These sculptures were created using hand dyed paper yarn, optic fibre and wire and were displayed as a sculpture trail. Much of my work is based on natural forms. These pieces were inspired by childhood memories of visiting botanical gardens and experiencing the excitement of entering another world inside the glasshouses. I wanted to produce work that captured the atmosphere of the tropical world of the glasshouses. The aim of the project was to emphasise the natural beauty of the environment, drawing attention to it while encouraging people to appreciate and look after it.
