Christmas Cards
For the last three years I have created Christmas cards and donated a third of the profit to the Vietnamese Charity Hue Help. I spent the summer of 2008 in Vietnam volunteering for Hue Help: a charity set up to provide assistance to the large numbers of people still living in poverty in central Vietnam. The funds support children's orphanages, mobile clinics and other projects.
Thank you so much to everyone that bought my cards in 2010, once again we raised over £100 for Hue Help.
A message from Hue Help - "On behalf of everyone at Hue Help, I would like to thank those who have supported our work by purchasing these Christmas cards. The funds raised from these cards will be used to provide additional activities at Hue Children's Shelter, which is currently home to thirty seven children without parents, or parents that are too poor or sick to care for them. Throughout 2011 we have a huge range of extra activities planned for the children at this shelter - from trips to the local hot springs, to life skills training. Our aim is to diversify the activities the children are involved with, providing the stimulation they need to develop and effectively preparing them for independence. Thank you for your continued support!"
These colourful festive cards are 10cms x 10cms with the message 'Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year'.
They come in packs of 6 cards, 3 designs with envelopes.
Each pack costs £4 plus postage and packaging.
A third of the profit from these cards is donated to the Vietnamese Charity Hue Help.
