Christmas Cards
A big thank you to everyone to bought Christmas Cards last winter, we raised a over £100 for Hue Help.
Message from Hue Help: "thank you for all your work and support with the Christmas cards. We are really pleased that you chose to support us again this year. We would like to use this fund to assist our Extra Education programme at the Home of Affection. This programme includes the provision of additional teachers for secondary and primary school level students, as well as the employment of two staff at the orphanage."
I spent the summer of 2008 in Vietnam volunteering for Hue Help: a charity set up to provide assistance to the large numbers of people still living in poverty in central Vietnam. The funds support children's orphanages, mobile clinics and other projects.
My 2009 Christmas cards were 10cms x 10cms with the message 'Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year'. Keep your eye out for 2010's new designs.
They come in packs of 6 cards, 3 designs with envelopes.
Each pack costs £3.90 plus postage and packaging.
A third of the profit from these cards is donated to the Vietnamese Charity Hue Help.
